Internship Programme 2024
The State Department's Internship Programme offers recent graduates practical, hands-on experience across housing policy, urban planning, engineering, ICT, finance, and communications functions. Interns are placed within specific departments based on their field of study and are assigned a supervisor who provides structured mentorship and periodic performance feedback throughout the six-month placement. This programme is a key talent pipeline for the department and many former interns have gone on to secure substantive positions within the public service.
Requirements: Recent graduate — within 2 years of completing a relevant degree or diploma. · Certified copies of academic transcripts and certificates. · Kenyan citizen with a valid national ID. · Strong written and verbal communication skills.
