The State Department hosted Kenya's national World Habitat Day celebrations at Uhuru Park, Nairobi, bringing together government officials, development partners, private developers, and members of the public.
The event featured exhibition stands from housing sector stakeholders, panel discussions on affordable housing finance and urban resilience, and site tours of nearby affordable housing developments.
As part of the celebrations, the department launched its Annual Housing Report, providing an updated national picture of housing stock, affordability trends, and progress toward the Affordable Housing Programme's targets.
